Does anyone else’s bun love to run “The Bunny 500” around from room to room? 🙂 Frankie runs and binkies about 4 laps in a row all around my living room and the rest of my apartment when I let him out of his cage. It’s so entertaining to watch! He’ll also occasionally stomp his foot while he’s running. I’m not doing anything to upset him (or so I think) and I usually get out of his established running path so he won’t run into my leg; my apartment is fairly quiet as well. Is he upset about something, or is he just showing off?

Foo does it around the room when we are watching her. I think she just enjoys running around. I am always suprised at how fast she goes and always worry that she’ll miss a turn and run into something.

Gary loves to run all over the house, up and down the stairs too. The funniest part is that the cat joins in the race. They take turns who is in the lead, so I know they both view it as a game. It sounds like a heard of elephants

He’s definitely NOT upset. Far from it – he’s exercising and practicing being a bunny with all the basic bunny maneuvers. Bunnies are something like the 3rd fastest mammal I think.

He’s having fun. Sammy used to do Bunny 500s in all my apartments. Only now that I don’t have wall to wall carpeting here does she not venture out to do them any more. I worry about her lack of exercise.

It’s even better if you catch it on your movie camera and share with others.

Mine loves to run the 500 down the hall, around the living room and back to his bedroom. I tried catching it on my smart-phone video camera, but he is so fast, it doesn’t show up! You just see a strange blur. Guess I need a better camera to capture it.

My Chacha has full run of the apartment and does runs from the living room back into my room several times around 1 am
