i have a few cockroaches around the house and my dad and i decided to dust some boric acid around the house. we dusted it basically in the kitchen, the back of the sofa and a little bit in the closets and behind the fridge in our hallway. we did dust it behind the bunny’s cage, but then, after a week, removed it.
so today, when i was cleaning his cage i took him out. he was walking around and i decided to check on him…  , he was behind the fridge (where the boric acid was put) and was licking the floor! i quickly grabbed him and put him on my lap and took a tissue and just dusted him off. i didn’t know what else to do!
i read a few articles online about how you can use boric acid to kill fleas off the rabbit, but i never actually found an answer to my question…

WHAT CAN WE DO IF RABBIT INGESTS BORIC ACID?
IS IT DANGEROUS FOR A RABBIT? (FATAL)
i am soooo scared for him! ( he’s acting fine for now).

I would call a vet and ask them.
