I just finished putting together the flooring for my bunny's cage. I have pine trim along the edges, no chemicals & kiln dried, but she's been chewing on it which takes off a sliver of wood, is this bad? Can she be hurt by it? I've been trying to take away any slivers she gets but I can't watch 24/7 :/

I'm not sure if it's bad or not. You can always switch to using a thicker wooden trim. I'm trying to think of others who have had wood trim in their cages... Hopefully someone will come by and put their two cents in. =]

I can't remember exactly whether pine is toxic or not once made into paneling. Giving this a gentle bump. Perhaps a forum leader has the answer.
