Loppi’s teeth have been growing more recently, his bottom teeth are starting to stick out of his mouth a bit when you look closely :s the vet said his bottom teeth are crossing his front teeth and they filed them down a bit about 2 months ago but now they seem to have grown a bit since

We’re taking him to the vet again to have a look, but do any of you have experience with this problem and what can be done to help? He doesn’t want to chew on apple sticks we’ve given him, and we feed him mostly Timothy hay which I heard is supposed to be better.. but he actually hasn’t been eating a lot of it recently

They will always grow. If these are his incisors (front teeth) he most likely has maloclussion which mean his teeth do not grow straight and there is not a thing as far as diet that you can do to correct it.

You can have them removed and that is a very common fix to this problem. However there may be problems still with molar spurs either way since their teeth do no line up and it will be a life long problem that will require frequent trimmings.

They seem to be growing straight, just getting longer than usual. This is the first time they we’ll have them cut… hope it’s gonna be fine after this

They may be growing straight but if they don’t line up with the top and the bottom that may be the problem. Hopefully it will be fine though.
