Hi all I know its been a long time since I have been on here.

Anyway I found a wild baby bunny in my back yard its eyes are open and he has a white blaze

But when we found him he hoped away and he can barely hop his legs splay out when he hope he does’t stand a chance against the neighbor cats!!!! I really don’t know what to do! He is right now huddled in a corner and a few steps away is one of the neighbor cats when I went up to him he just stayed were he was!

I really need help I don’t want him being eaten

        Thanks

OK Huge Moral Dilemma. First get your garden hose and spray the cat. I have five cats, it is not cruel especially in Summer. They will dry off and survive the indignity. Next get bun temporarily into a box or something safe with lots of grass for softness and something to hide under. NOW… Search your garden for a nest, hopefully you will find one and the baby can be placed back where it belongs. Hunt about for clues like bunny runs and poop trails. If the nest has been disturbed you will need to check to see if the litter mates are ok, if possible restore the baby to the nest and rebuild so that the fur placed properly and the bubs insulated and kept warm. If after extensive searching you cannot find a nest then it is possible the cat has taken the baby from elsewhere and dropped it in your yard to feast. This is where it gets hard. Its a wild bunny, I know I could not walk away but you need to consider the laws in your area and the needs of the baby. I can’t tell you what to do if you can’t find the nest you will have to make that decision yourself. If you cannot find the nest and decide to take the bun in it will need to go to the Vet asap. Mean while HOSE THE CAT !!!!! (Trust me, I have used the hose on several occasions and they are not damaged by it, I just have to wake up to Cat Butt for a few days) But I would prefer my neighbours to use a hose if my cat is misbehaving than some of the alternatives,

Are his eyes open? If so they are mobile and able to be own their own. Unless of course this particular one is injured then you need to find a wildlife rehabber and get the rabbit to them.

Can’t add anything to what Sarita and Roberta said. Hose that cat, put bunny back, pray…
