When I first got my bunny, I bought Timothy Hay for her to eat and she totally loved it. Once I found out that she was too young to be eating it, I tried to switch her over to Alfalfa but she hates it! I see her eat it every once in a while, but it’s no where near the same as with her Timothy Hay. I try to mix them which helps, but it hasn’t solved the problem. :/ Any advice?

It’s perfectly fine for her to have timothy hay and I would advise you to continue feeding the timothy hay to her. She just needs a small bit of the alfalfa and most likely her pellets are alfalfa too.

I agree with Sarita, the important thing is that she eat some kind of hay so if she liked timothy hay better than that’s a good choice. If you notice that she is too skinny then I would suggest getting pellets that are alfalfa based (adult rabbits are supposed to have timothy based) if hers are not already or calling the vet to see if there’s something else that would work
