I’m sure this question has probably been asked before, but I can’t find a clear answer anywhere, I keep finding conflicting information. With the drought in WI flys, ants, spiders, and other bugs are SUPER bad right now. Even though we don’t leave any food out ants keep popping out of the cracks in our floor. I don’t know what to use in my room because that’s where the bunnies spend the most time. I also would love to hear about any other solutions people have found. Thanks!

As far as I know, it isn’t poisonous. I thought I saw it listed somewhere as “safe”. How good it actually is for them, I don’t know. Are you asking because you want to feed it or are you asking because they may accidentally come into contact?

I’ve heard that if you spray down where the ants come in with vinegar, it will erase their pheramone trail, and then peppermint oil will keep them away.

Thanks for the responses! I’m asking because I want to put cinnamon in the cracks they’re coming from and the bunnies might come in contact, sorry I was a little confusing . I will try the vinegar thing as well.

What about diatamasceous earth-outside? It kills any crawling bug and is safe to touch but not to inhale-so outside is safe.

Thanks, I’ll give it a search to see where I can buy it!
