  Hi guys!
  
  Thane came home from his castration today. His op was yesterday afternoon. I was expecting to see both testicles and sacs removed, but when I picked him up for his meds (baydril in case his previous sinus infection comes back) I noticed they’re both still there with incisions down both testicles. I also see his stitches.
  
  I didn’t get to speak with my vet when I collected him earlier. She’s the best in my country for rabbits and comes highly recommended, so I’m not concerned. I’m just wondering is this normal? Also, nothing was said about having stitches removed either.

  Yep, that’s normal. They are a bit swollen right now and then will shrivel up eventually.

  Yeah I agree with Sarita, it’s normal.
  Normally when a bun is neutered they use dissolvable stitches, and I think considering that nothing was mentioned about them that’s probably the case. Maybe give them a call to make sure though.

  Brilliant, thanks guys! He’s not really into eating right now, but demolishes his broccoli when I give him that. Should I be worried?
  
  Pooping and drinking is fine. He’s sleeping a lot but quite likes a snuggle from me!
