different brands of hay does it matter?

  Hi there I mentioned on here I will be rabbit sitting for the first time my friends rabbit for 7 days. I told her not to bring hay because I have some here. She doesn’t use the same brand of hay that I use. Is it ok to use a different brand on her rabbit or should I tell her to bring the hay she uses for her rabbit? I know some rabbits are picky on hay! THanks

  When I rabbit sit, I always just use the hay I have for my boarding rabbits. I suppose it would be dependent on how picky the rabbit is, but otherwise, you can just use your own hay.

  Might want to just ask her what type and brand she uses in case bunny goes on a hunger strike and you want to pick up a small quantity after all. Your bunnies might eat her brand if you end up doing that.
