I picked up some cilantro from the local farmer’s market for my boys, but had a question about it because it still has the little white flowers on the tops of some of the stems.  So, it looks like this: http://ballardfarmersmarket.files.wordpress.com/2011/08/stoneyplainsfloweringcilantro.jpg?w=450&h=311

I was wondering if anyone had an official answer if the flowers were safe for them to eat or not, they’re easily cut off.  The older guy I buy them from made the comment that the cottontails usually eat the flowers first and he squished some of them so I could see there were no seeds in them.  But I’d rather be safe than sorry.

          The flowers should be fine.
