I am taking in a litter of baby bunnies to foster for the SPCA. I am picking them up this week. I will use this thread to keep up with their development. Any tips?

Ahh...how fun. How old are the babies?

I would put them in a warm place (not too warm) but away from drafts. Mom will probably make sure they are warm too - they need to be warm to digest their food. I would give Mom lots of time away from them too - well, let her roam so she can have some peace away from the babies.

I believe the SPCA has a store bought cage that I can use and I have an xpen. Do you think attaching the xpen to the cage would be ok? At least for the first few weeks? With run time for mom (and babies when they are old enough) too of course.

Definitely - I think that's a great idea.
