So i would like to get a large enough x-pen for my bun, to be outside, (of course ill be out there with him when he is out) i just don't know how big i should get it and how many inches high it should be so he doesn't jump out.  Any ideas or good places to get one for cheap online or in the store? THANKSS

I get mine from Amazon but I have Prime. Get a minimum of 32-36 inches

Try looking for 36". It might seem unnecessarily tall, but it's pretty amazing how high bunnies can jump when they want to!

Ex-pens do tend to be a little pricey, but good ones are very sturdy and pretty much last forever. You could check out drsfostersmith.com since they have free shipping on $50+...also, as S&L recommended, Amazon might have some (even if you don't have Prime shipping, there are probably a few that qualify for super saver shipping so you don't have to pay shipping costs).

That pen is also only 24" high. Definitely too short.

That said, I would get a pen with a cover if you plan on taking it outside. Too many predators and such, even if you are right there.

Look for 36" or higher. 40" is even better! Look for a pen that's large to. When mine stretched out it's about 8ft. long

I agree with MB, if you get a cover you don't need to worry about quite as high a pen. 36" I think is plenty. If you want to be able to see through the top, you could get a piece of screen cut to size and tie it to the top also. You want to always protect your bunny from predators when outside.

Also, be sure the grass you set it on is not sprayed with pesticides. Even those blowing over from a neighbor's yard can be harmful, so be careful what's under the bunny, too. some xpens are sold with plastic covers that fit them.
