         Hi everyone!

So i just have a few questions, my bun is about 3 months old, what is the amount of peletes that i should be giving him a day? He weights 3 lbs but is still growing. Also how much veggies should i be giving him each day?  I usually just give him like half a cup a day, should i be giving more? I know these are general questions but i did research on it and im still not sure

Heres the baby laying on my homework hehe

Hi There We have a page all about diet here https://binkybunny.com/BUNNYINFO/Diet/tabid/60/Default.aspx You can give unlimited pellets at this age and decrease at about a year.
Are you feeding hay? It’s important for your bunny to have unlimited hay and this should be the majority of his diet

Yes he gets as much hay as he wants….how much veggies should i be giving him now? I know when they are a year old they should be getting like 4 cups a day, so since hes young should i be giving him 2 cups a day?

I’d give him enough that he’s still eating hay. If you are giving too many veggies he will eat less hay so observe what he’s eating and adjust. Veggies are a great very natural part of their diet, but hay should be the staple. Four cups of veggies is a bit much-two cups is for a 6lb rabbit so you’d be looking at a 12 lb rabbit for four cups.

Also since he’s young be careful not to introduce too many veggies to fast. Introduce one new one no more than every 3-4 days. And see how his stomach adjusts to it

He doesnt really eat much hay period, not even when i got him. So should i completely cut out veggies and just give him the hay and pellets?

If he’s not eating hay at all, I would just decrease his greens, not eliminate them all together. With his tummy still being rather young, you don’t want to make any drastic changes all at once either way. a 1/2 a cup isn’t all that much, but like Frankie said, you should introduce greens at 3 months one at a time. How long has he been on them?

What kind of hay is he getting currently?

By the way — very cute photo!!! He’s adorable.

Mine wasn’t a big fan of timothy hay (which was lucky for me because I’m pretty allergic to it) So he’s been on orchard grass since I’ve got him. He loves it. Maybe try him on that sometime. Buy a small bag to start in case he doesn’t like it.

And I meant to say cute photo. I just forget sometimes He looks super soft

My bun didn’t like timothy hay either, I had to give her orchard to get her to eat hay. Try different types – oat, orchard, etc and see if it is just the type of hay he dislikes.

Just try a variety. Pablo has; grass from outside (NO PESTICIDES) Timothy hay, orchard hay , and oat hay!
HE loves them all mixed together. He wouldn’t just eat timothy :/
Lol. He really loves his hay, it’s a great thing!:0)

I love softness of baby hair. Bunjamin has a patch behind his ears and when I’m a good slave and make him melt he lets me pet it
