Willow balls, cubes, etc are favorites of my buns for toys. Or phone books…

Be careful with the larger spacing cubes you have at the top there, some buns will get their heads stuck between them.

He doesnt know how to jump up to the other levels yet, is there any way of me teaching him to do this? I know hes young so once he grows he’ll prob figure more of it out? And i feel like its not “homey” ? comfortable for him, im going to get some sea grass matts and willow balls but besides that what could i do to make it better? He gets free run of my room when im in my room, which i am a lot. But what are some other things i should do?

I use an overturned laundry basket with a hole cut in the side for Hazel. You can put some blankets in there, and they love to dig! It makes a great hidey house. I also put a towel on top of the overturned basket so they can jump and sit on the top. Hazel loves it! She’s always in there playing. I also really like the timothy tunnels from Oxbow; they make a big mess if your bun shreds it, but they love them so much it’s worth it. You can also try cardboard toilet paper tubes, empty Kleenex boxes (with the plastic removed) stuffed with hay, and empty peanut butter jars they can push around.

Is that carpet on the shelves? If not he’ll need something like that to grip onto to jump. I use door mats sold at home depot.

BUT this looks really good and todd is lucky to have such a nice slave

As for making it more homey, give it time. Mine’s thrown around hay and toys and eventually it looked like a bunny habitat.

yay! I’m glad my suggestion worked. And they get braver when they get older and more comfortable with you. At least mine did.

yeah each day hes getting more used to me and his new home, i absolutely love him!! Except i hate the fact that he ALWAYS goes under my bed and i have no idea what hes doing under there bc i have stuff under there, so i need to figure out something to keep him from always going under there! Any suggestions?

nic cubes/storage grids. I buy mine from bed bath and beyond bc they’re a good price with coupons. Make sure the grids are not bigger than an inch, inch and a half. Otherwise they might get head stuck (there’s a youtube video of it I had to watch to believe it). And cable ties make it easy to secure them to each other and just do the bottom of your bed. My bed at my parents house is just on a simple frame so I was even able to attach the cubes to that for extra security.
And the under the bed thing is normal. It’s most bunnies fav spot. Bunjamin loved it as a baby and even found a way into our boxspring before we fixed it up!

warning: its not a video I encourage for cuteness. Just sometimes you have to see it to believe it.
