When brittany eats she makes piggy sounds. Thats the best way to describe it.  lol Also when she all layed out she makes this strange noise, she looks very content . Not sure how to describe it. Does anyone else have nosie buns?

I used to have a Dutch named Mango who was very vocal. He used to make noises when he ate and he snored (very loudly).

Powder used to honk before I got him neutered, now he doesn’t make any noises. Stickers grunts quite often, when eating, or when I am in her way.

Samson is the most talkative darn bunny ever haha. She growls, snorts, honks, purrs, you name it. They all mean different things in context hah.

Bindi makes piggy sounds when he eats. He’s a bit of a glutton and gets super excited by food. I think the noises are cute.

Hodari honks when she sees me getting her hay, or if she thinks she’s going to get a treat. She makes loud grunts that sound like a pig sometimes, too, usually when she’s thwarted from doing something she’s not allowed to do. She’ll also do it if I am slow to let her out of her cage. She gets impatient. Lol.

The honk is really cute; it’s barely audible but it sounds like a little goose. She honks (and buzzes) when she’s dreaming sometimes, too. I assume she’s dreaming happy dreams about eating tons of papaya, or something equally divine.

What do you feed her, how often, and in what quantities? Does she make the noises only when she eats pellets, or when she eats hay and veggies too? Does she finish her food very quickly? If you’re feeding her pellets in a bowl, you might want to think about scattering them around her pen instead. That will allow her to forage around for her food (like rabbits would do in the wild), and slow her down a little bit.

She makes noises no matter what shes doing. Eating, drinking, playing, sleeping, shes just noise. She takes her time eating. Shes quite the lady with manners. lol Just makes noises. But then there are times where shes queit. And not a peep.

of my 3 girls Pia is the most vocal. (top pix)  she makes all the mentioned sounds. BB (middle pix) grunts to show her opposition to being picked up. Furbee, very quiet and of late doesn’t mind being picked up at all.

Blossom just started those oink noises. When I come into the room she runs around and makes these quiet oink noises. I thought she was just excited to see me but everyone thinks it means she is at her sexuual peak and thinks im her mate!! LOL. Im enjoying it because she never was friendly now she runs out to see me and will sit for 10 minutes and let me pat her in the wide open!!

In that case, it does sound like she’s just a normal, vocal bunny! How fun!

Lol! Bean made a little grunting, “Eh! Eh! Eh!” sound as he raced around waiting for his papaya tablet. Mike and I called it his, “Grunty woodchuck” noise.

My Cupcake bunn makes the “honking” noise in the morning when I go in to see her and when I get home from work. I assume it’s just excitment to see me and knowing she is going to get fed. Dizzie bunn does it all the time when she is circling my feet and when I first let her out. It’s so quiet on both, but if you are paying attention, you can hear it. It’s soooooo cute!!

Sleek and elegant Winslet grunts and snorts at pellet time – it’s hilarious!

She comes running down the hallway, occasionally bonking into my legs because the kitchen floor is slippery tile.  Then honk snort gromph snort munch – cracks me up every time.  I scatter them on a plate so that she doesn’t inhale them too fast, but she’s never had a problem.  I guess she’s just really excited.
