So Blossom has been so affectionate this last week.  She gets so excited when you come into the room now.  She will run right up to you and wants to be patted and she runs around and binkies and makes this little grunting noise.  It sounds like a little piggy.  I know that probably means she thinks Im her mate but she has never been a friendly rabbit so its nice that she lets us go up to her and pat her now!!  I know i know I have to get her spayed but Im going to enjoy the friendly little rabbit for a few more weeks!!

Spaying helps with all of the crazy hormones she is experiencing.

My bunny was so-so at affection before I got her spayed, but after, she calmed down.. and she still gives me kisses to this day She even nudges my butt, shoves my hand under her nose, and will sit and stare at me until I give her pets

Don’t think that is so much hormonal, Stickers will run up to me for pets and run around doing binkies sometimes, but she’s been spayed a while – giving a craisin every now and then helps keep her doing it, ha! Of course I still get grunted and thumped at if she’s in the mood. It depends what she feels like doing at the time.

I think it’s more like she is getting comfortable in your home and is starting to trust you rather than hormones.

Well if its she is just starting to get use to me it was all at once! LOL. I get nervous because im afraid i will kick her by accident because she is always right by my feet. I think it all started since I started to give her that Papya. I think she addicated to it!!

Lol. Papaya could certainly have something to do with it, especially since she loves it. Treats are helpful because they teach animals that being around us is fun and rewarding. I agree with everyone else that she’s just getting more comfortable and learning that you are very nice!

Haha yeah the papaya would help, my buns expect craisins so often now since I started giving them as treats, that every time I go into the kitchen or touch a plastic bag they come running and circling me like “Where are they? I know you have something for me – gimme! Now, now, now!” … of course they are usually disappointed, but it hasn’t stopped them being enthusiastic
