Hi I was wondering if anyone uses these.  I just bought one for Blossom because she has sores on her feet and the only thing I can think its from is the screen I use in her litter box because it is plastic and not flexable.  She has the run of the family room so its not from sitting on wire cages.  Do you like them?  Do they work well?  Thanks Mindy

I don’t have the ones from BB, but I made my own out of the same materials and yes they work well. It is wire though, so if blossom has sores on her feet already you may want to put a layer of hay over the screen to soften it for her.

What do her feet look like? A callous is perfectly normal and fine – it will look like a pink area, maybe with hair missing. A real sore will be red and irritated, possibly bleeding or infected. Since she is generally on a soft surface and isn’t a rex, having actual sores would be pretty unusual.

the dr told me not to worry about it. Its not infected. She is only 2 pounds but to me it looked red and irritated and not a calus. Im assuming its the grate I have in her litter box.
