Pancakes was spayed just over a week ago – so far so good.

She made a super fast recovery and is back to her normal self. She already seems much more placid and more affectinate and her litter habbits have seemed to improved.

Before the spay we had a big problem with her weeing/spraying on the bed and sofa. Since then we have kept her in the kitchen (lino floor!)  I was wondering how long after her operation it would be safe to introduce her back into the rest of the house. I really miss having her with me in the bedroom and living room, and I think she will be so happy to be back out again.

        Thanks for any advice x

Other than needing to keep her contained for healing purposes, you can let her back in when you are ready. Just keep in mind that she will still have some hormones to deal with for about a month, though two months isn’t unheard of, so if she does mark in that time frame it might still be hormone related. That is not to say that she isn’t already a changed bunny, hence why I basically said when you are ready/she is healed.

Of course it certainly wouldn’t hurt to slowly increase her access in order to not only help keep those better litterbox habits, but also to kill some time as you wait for her hormones to dissipate.
