Hmm I’m not sure if there is a 100% certain way to tell if a basket is untreated unless the label says so. If the baskets are shiny they are definitely treated.

Umm, most treatment will leave a residue on it (kind of oily), but I don’t know any 100% way to know for sure without a label. Were they made for outside ?

thanks! they were inside baskets, i let him play in it for a bit and he decided it was another toilet so there goes that idea for now! maybe i’ll invest in a wicker ball or 2..it would be handy if there was a definite way to tell!

Another good option is willow A lot of rabbits here love eating/chewing them.

I wouldn’t give bunny any wicker/willow to chew unless it’s specifically made for pets. Some of the treatments could be toxic.
