So my rabbit found out how to walk down the stairs very quickly, the problem is that she is mostly litter trained and when she goes down into the basement she messes everywhere. so how can i litter train her upstairs and in the basement?

Does she have boxes in the basement? Are there other animals in the home?

Well, a good start then is to put a box down there for her. The rest is bunnyproofed, right?

Can you somehow close off the passage she can go downstairs when you can’t look after her? If not, you should try leaving one, or a few litter boxes in the basement. Just put in hay in it and get a few of her droppings from upstairs and put it in..She should know. If not, it won’t take long for her to find a place where she will relieve herself, then you will know where to put the litter box for next time.
