So last night, Lady had a bout of diarrhea, like true wet brown liquid I checked on her all night, she is still playful, eating, pooping, drinking, but still, super concerning. I gave her some mint for the first time about 24 hours before, so that might have caused it, I’m not sure. Then this morning one eye is very runny, clear liquid making a path down her cheek, and she wont let me groom it, so it must be sensitive  I have a call into the vet, she was in for her exam like, 2 weeks ago so I don’t think its her teeth. And theres no white gunk or anything. Just could use some good vibes and/or any ideas.

Quick update, I’m to watch her eye for changes and continue to warm compress it, and then drop off a stool sample so they can check for parasites or anything. I gave em a ton of hay yesterday, so I’m hoping its just allergies or maybe a dust particle stuck in her eye.

Let us know what the vet says. It could be more than one thing.

Sending good vibes, that maybe she just got a bit of dust in the eye, and had an upset tummy from the mint, and that there’s not an actual sickness going on!

Mint is usually an herb that is soothing to tummies, not the other way around. But whatever it is, I hope Lady is doing better.

I am getting worried though since we didn’t hear from you yesterday.

Oh sorry, we’re still watching. No more odd poops, so that must’ve been from the mint or maybe collard greens we gave, I haven’t given them since. Her eye is still a leaky mess, and I’m going to try to get her in today to get something for it. Still not pus or gunk, just wet :/

That is good about the poops. Keep us updated about her eyes. Could be just an irritant or a clogged duct — hopefully it is something simple.

Well, as it usually is, I called and made the appt for today, but her eye has been clear all day so I cancelled. I’m going to keep an eye on it, its so weird :/

So typical! The moment that bunnies find out they are going to the vet….they stop pulling the “sick” trick. It’s happened to me where Rucy would make me worried for one thing or another, I would drag her to the vet for her to act perfectly fine, and nothing be wrong with her and we’d come home, and she would be running around like normal.

Maybe it was just an irritant of some sort. Keeping fingers crossed all is well now.

Thanks BB! I’m really hoping it was just a hay thing or something.
