So I decided to let Cheddy socialize with Noodle and Meatball on Saturday since Cheddy is so laid back. They were getting along fine, even eating together.

Suddenly, Cheddy starts to chase Noodle and tries to attack her. I was in the other room and I heard her scream. My boyfriend was watching them and separated them. Her scream was so high pitched, like a little girl. It makes me sad when I think of it and hear it in my head. Poor Noodle…she’s okay now, but still.

I’ve heard a rabbit scream before as well and it’s hard to get out of your head. Glad Noodle is okay.

Aww, I’m glad Noodle is ok! I haven’t heard a bunny scream, but I can only imagine how traumatizing it would be.

I only heard a bunny screaming once. That was a wild baby bunny that fell in the window well. My dad went to help him out and he was screaming his head off.

              Poor Noodle. =(

I’ve heard it online, but not in person. I’m sorry Noodle screamed.

I am concerned that it was a scream of pain, so I think you should carefully and gently check her all over. Look for signs of bites, dried blood or missing fur. I just want you to be sure that she wasn’t actually hurt. If so, she needs to see a vet.

If not, and I hope not, then take a step back in your bonding and do supervised (by you) sessions that are easier for her to handle.

RabbitPam, Noodle is going for her first vet check up this Friday. I did notice her leg twitching today. I picked her up and massaged her and looked for bites, but she seemed fine.

She does the sniffles, so she’s going to have to get on medication.
