Alright so, after taking Monty to the vet. He’s a healthy little man, just a little overweight…. So I changed how much pellets I gave him.

        Seems  great!

Only one problem… Everytime he gets on my bed, he poops. Just leaves one or two behind as hes  walking but doesnt do it anywhere else at all! I know hes doing it on purpose, but why?

I hang out in my room a lot and I always sit on one spot in my bed and I went to go make tea while I had him out, I came back and he had crapped all over the spot where I sit on my bed. Is this territorial?

Will this go away when he is neutered? God I hope so, I just want to pet and cuddle him on my bed but hes being a bad boy!!!

Yes it is territorial. Bunnies like to mark their territory, and unfortunatley, even when they are litter trained, they will continue to leave their little poops around to mark it as their place. Even after they are neutered this will go on. Its a rabbit thing. Just be glad he isnt spraying to mark his territory…poop is easy to clean up! lol

Your bed smells like you and only you, so your bunny may feel the need to mark it to make it smell like them. Molly has only pooped twice in my bed, and she goes there all the time. All rabbits are differnt tho. He isn’t being a bad boy, he’s being a normal bunny And not all bunnies like to be cuddled, in fact most don’t like to be held. I tried making Molly get used to me holding her, but it just made her really upset, so I stopped, cuz I can’t change her personality. Just spend a lot of time with him and you will learn to understand and accept his wishes and what makes him most comfortable

Some people have had success in getting a bun to use a litterbox ON the bed instead of the bed, but yes it is territorial and no it won’t stop with a neuter (most likely). Easiest solution is just get an old throw and put it over the bed when you let bun up there, that way you can just take it off and dump the mess into the litter box once he’s done playing.
