Can I use yesterdays’s news cat litter for bunnies? I know that cat litter is usally a no – but this one is made out of paper pellets. Any experience with this?

Yes, that is perfectly fine – just make sure to get the unscented one if you can.

Yes, It is fine. They make a rabbit litter which looks exactly like the cat litter, only more expensive. I have been using the unscented cat litter for my rabbit for three years with no problems.

They no longer make the rabbit version of Yesterday’s News, or any other versions besides the cat version. They recommend the YN Softer Texture Unscented for small animals and say it is the most similar to their former rabbit variety.

Paper pellet litter, such as Yesterday’s News, is one of the rabbit safe litters.

I bought a bag today of their original formula, because they only had the scented softer version. Its safe for bunnies and works really well.

It is difficult to find the unscented softer version in stores. The original version is fine.

I love YN. I find the unscented variety at the grocery or pet store. Since it’s pretty costly, I just put enough on the bottom of the litter pan to absorb pee and then cover it with hay.

Yes if you get the unscented pellets. My petco has a 30# bag for $15.99 a bag
