Safe woods to eat/chew?

I was thinking of making some faux baseboards along the bunnies pen wall, I can’t find a list of safe woods though?

If you’re getting the wood at a place like Home Depot, be sure it’s called “untreated”. Pine is often used for cage construction, but you need to specify that’s what you want. It’s the chemical treatment on otherwise good woods that can do damage. Often they treat to make it waterproof for porch construction, so just ask before it’s cut.
