  I had a bonded trio of dwarf rabbits who got along fabulously (2 males and 1 female). The female got sick and was at the vet for 4-5 days. When I brought her home, the 2 males wouldn’t have anything to do with her! I had to remove her from the xpen and place her in her own space. I know bunnies have short term memories, but is there any way I can rebond them? I tried a couple of times and they would just chase and harass the heck out of her! Poor thing was wedged between the litterbox and the xpen, eyes wide with panic trying to get away. I thought I saw this topic covered before, but I can’t seem to find it. Is Peanut doomed to live by herself forever? They were so cute together that I can’t bear the thought of Peanut being alone now without her partners in crime! Thanks!

  you’ll have to start the bond over from scratch. Bond her individually to the others one at a time, starting with the calmest of the 2 I would think. Once she is bonded to one, start with the other. Let her have time with the bonded one every day so that bond doesn’t break, as well as let the 2 boys have time every day too. It will probably take some time, but with patience and determination it should work out

  Thanks Monkeybun for the advice! Their bonding process was so easy the first time! Mr. Bean is the most calmest of the two and Peanut was bonded to him first, then Hershey. Hershey is the “devil bunny”, always in trouble! Mr. Bean and Hershey seem to be closer than ever now that Peanut is gone. Do you think I should rebond them in a neutral territory or in their own space? My bunnies aren’t free roam due to my hardwood floors; they have their own room which is carpeted.
