right now, my 130 pound hay bale is super dusty & moldy outside in the shack. next time i buy hay, i want to store it inside and also properly store it. I’m going to get the 130 pound hay bale again for my two bunnies but idk how to store it. I don’t have gigantic plastic containers either.

        so any other ideas? 😮

The number one thing to remember when storing hay is that it needs to breath. When I bought a bale for my buns, I stored it in the spare room in the basement, on top of a garbage bag with another garbage bag loosely over top. I kept a broom and dust pan right beside to keep it from making a big mess. Just make sure wherever you store it is not damp or it will mold.
