So,  Itook out the dresser and cleaned my whole room and put the xpen in. Do you think it’s okay now?

I think the cage part itself is a little small, so I would suggest never keeping him just in the actual cage. But it’s great that you have that xpen! With that he has a nice amount of space. He will still need at least 4 hours of exercise outside of it of course

tThat def looks better. Instead of having it all bunched up on one end, I would wrap it all the way around the cage, and that way it covers the walls and the delicious to bunnys baseboards.

@Sam and Lady’s Human: I can’t make it bigger unfortunately. My husband’s big clothes dresser is literally right behind the bunched up part of the xpen. I tried stretching it out all the way but it went passed the door out into the garage. : (

Not stretched out, but wrapped around into the corner… like

The amount of space would be exactly the same, but you’ll be protecting the walls with the xpen pushed up to it.

Oohhh now I know what you mean. Still can’t thought, I tried, when I do wrap it around 1) you can’t open the door barely at all (yea our room is that small) and 2) when you manage to squeeze in you have to leap over the cage to make it to the bed, and my husband will not tolerate that for a second. This I think is perfect for now, I let him run free range in my room then put him back in there when I gotta go. I wish I could put something on top like a cover because he can jump out, and boy he jumps out HIGH!

Some people drape a blanket over the parts their buns can jump, and sometimes it prevents then form getting out.

I posted in your other thread that I thought using an x-pen would be a good way to go. I hadn’t seen this thread yet. That’s certainly a lot better space for him, and it’s good that he gets to run around the room too.

                            I like it!
Cozy cage open for quiet sleeping time, and room to move around in the rest. If you are able to let him out to run around your home when you’re with him, he’s got it made.
