Humping is natural. It’s how they decide who the dominant bun is. As logn as they are both altered, its fine.

Are you trying this in a neutral space and for short periods. Humping is natural however you want it to be so much that she cannot eat and she gets upset.

It’s pretty normal for a male (even neutered) to want to hump – it can be learned behavior as well as a hormonal or dominant one. My male did that with my female when I started bonding them. What I did was if he humped too much (mine would go 20-30 minutes straight without a break, making my girl whimper and cry) I pushed him off, or used a spray bottle. I also let them have a space large enough the girl could run away from him if she felt so inclined, so supervised them in a room free run instead of in a x-pen or crate. Be sure there isn’t aggression though if you try that, or at least that you can quickly get to them to break up any that may start.

You do have to let him hump her a little bit though.

Thats normal, all the bonding videos I’ve seen the ale usually humps, even my single nuetered boy bunny humps the dog sometimes, haha.

Totally normal. It really was all Leopold wanted to do when I was first bonding my boys. I just had to wait and let him get it out of his system. Once he was satisfied that he was the dominant one, then he stopped. If you’re worried about one bun preventing the other from eating and such. Then limit their time together until he’s has made it through the humping phase. If they are separated when it is food time, then you won’t have to worry about her not being allowed to eat.

Rorschach and Nikka have been fixed for a year and a half now, and to this day they will still chase each other around and mount each other haha.

From what I’ve read about bonding, you have to do it slowly. Maybe separate them when it’s meal time, so they can both get their noms in. Then place them in a neutral area for a little while.. like other members said you’ll probably just have to let him get the humping out of his system.
