Do female rabbits continue to have false pregnancies after being spayed?

Or… do rabbits generally prepare for the winter in a similar way that they would for babies?

Huckles has been highly destructive for quite a while lately, she seems to be wanting to burrow or dig a hole out from under the couch. She is ripping up carpet again and is very territorial. She is spayed and has been for over a year.

Digging is normal, I’d worry if I saw hair pulling.

Sounds like she’s been bored, I would try more toys and distractions. If she likes ripping up carpet maybe she will like ripping up a grass mat, a thin cardboard box or phonebook. My bunnies like to burrow so I give them a pile of fleece blankets do move around and burrow in. What specifically is she territorial of?

Good ideas. She has a grass mat but she never much paid attention to it. She also has a very large box that she has been working on for about a year and finally managed to get into the inside of (it was really really thick). She loved that box and would play with it for hours. Maybe that is her problem, I hadnt thought about it…. Maybe she is angry that she is done with her box and needs something new to destroy.
She is territorial of everything in her room. She has a tree trunk/cat hidey tube thing that she wont let me come near. She grunts when I get close to her little tykes slide or her condo. She has been throwing the newspaper out of her litter box too. Oh, and she follows me around if I take her water bowl away.

Yeah that might be it! My rabbits are CONSTANTLY ripping apart cardboard, if they don’t have any they take it out the rug.

Hmm yeah I’ve heard that sometimes rabbits get territorial over the entire room when they don’t have a cage, ect. Sorry I know that’s not a solution lol. Wilbur was territorial towards me over her maze haven (she has a room, no cage) so I started giving her treats around it and when she was in it and now she is not territorial over it anymore.

A suggestion for under the couch: get a large, flattened piece of cardboard and slide that under the couch. If possible, try and anchor it down by sliding it under the feet on all four corners. This would have to be replaced once it gets chewed up. OR… you could get 12 inch tiles and lay those under the couch. You’d have to figure out how many are needed, but it would protect the flooring and she won’t destroy them.
