        Hello all~

Piper goes in for her spay tomorrow. She is bonded with Toby and have read that the bonded pair should make the trip together. I don’t want to stress Toby out, so would love to hear your thoughts.

I think for the spay I would not take them together – likely right after the procedure the vet may not put them right back together anyway so they can monitor her.

I think it would be best to take her alone. It could even possibly stress her out more to have him their immediately after. I agree with Sarita about the vet probably wanting to monitor her right after.

I agree- she will be separated from her husbun until she is fully recovered from anesthesia anyway. Animals can experience confusion when waking from anesthesia and could be aggressive or even scare their partner bun. You will have to carefully reintroduce them at home.
