I was about to clean Pandas anul glands (excuse my spelling!) and I was suprised to not see anything! I was prepared to see waxy stuff below and around the penis (/anul territory) But, nothing! I do not see why there was not any! Should I clean it anyway? I am totally confused!

If it isn’t all clogged up with gunk, you don’t need to clean it

Not all bunnies need theirs cleaned, but it’s good to check every once in a while just in case.

Haha. Same with Nava. I went to clean her “area” and it was completely clean. Some buns just have good hygiene I guess.

You really don’t need to clean them if your bunny cleans them there selves. My bunny kamdyn is disabled so I have to clean his once a month because he isn’t healthy and can’t reach down there.

Did you find the scent gland area? it is a hairless area that is not really exposed until you move the fur and flaps of skin around.

Most bunnies cannot easily clean them themselves. I am with katnip, areyou sure you actually found the anal glands? Its not the anal area, anal gland are actually two little pockets near the anus along either side of the genitals that you actually have to open up.
