I dislike htat when you go to their website they don’t list ingredients or show the nutritional values.. And judging from their descriptions their food is mostly for breeding rabbits, so its probably alfalfa based. I’d switch to something I know is a good pellet, like Oxbow, where they are not afraid to list ingredients.

I have never heard of Blue Seal- is it sold in a lg bag and intended for rabbitries as opposed to an appropriate pellets for a house bunny?

the normal stuff is only sold in 50lb bags from what I am reading… definitely rabbitry oriented.

I feed Blue Seal to my horse but I doubt the quality control of their rabbit pellets is as good as say, Oxbow. And I would worry about the pellets going bad before the buns can eat it all because of the large size of the bag.

I use Oxbow pellets, but Zupreem has a timothy hay based pellet that is supposed to be a good one. You can find Oxbow at PetSmart, and Zupreem is available at PetSmart as well as in other pet supply stores.

I second Sarita with American Pet Diner as a second choice to Oxbow.

My exact thoughts after checking their website.

That being said, they coudl be fine and pellets should be such a small part of their diet anyways. But I ditto-I like Oxbow just read about APD and that looks great as well
