So I get easily paranoid.  I was going to the bathroom and came out to find my Tipsy on my bed eating a nylon string!  You know those pesky strings you get on your dresses to hold it up on the hangers… she ate some of it!!  It was like 4 inches worth of string!  I pulled the rest I could out of her mouth.  I put her in her area and gave her an extra amount of fresh hay to make sure she will eat enough to pass it.  Do you think she will be ok?  Or will I have to take her to a vet?  Are there remedies for helping to pass things like this?

        EEK!

I’d wait and watch, give lots of hay and keep an eye.

I dont know how long it has to be to see any bad signs but so far after a few hours, she has been pooping normal and quite a lot, I am sure with all the fresh hay I gave her.

I’m not that secure, so I would call my vet asap and ask if it’s something to watch for, if she needs to be seen, if there are signs to watch for like blood in stool or urine before bringing her in, etc. If it passes, and she’s aleady pooped, that’s the best. Don’t know how well those things break down in her system. Maybe have a back up plan ready since it’s the weekend so you know where to take her if she shows some distress in a few hours.

I have done that and its just typical lethargy, loss of appetite, not pooping, and not drinking… but its the next day and so far she is nuts! she is running around my room like a crazy bunny, ate all of her food and is drinking fine, and I have noticed more poop in her area. So, so far, so good.
