Just doing some preliminary thinking. lol  My dad just picked up 4 bags of wood stove pellets to use as Lolli’s litter.  How does horse bedding pellets compare in price to say yesterday’s news or feline pine litters?  I tried to google prices and couldn’t find anything.

Yesterdays news I get for $15 a bag, for a 30lb bag. WSP are a lot cheaper (shame Powder is so picky about his litters ).

Ok, so even Horse bedding pellets are a lot cheaper. LOL Do they just jack up the price cause it’s labeled for cats or what? haha Once the bag of yesterday news and the 4 bags of WSP run out, I will be looking into the horse bedding pellets.

I buy horse stall bedding through work and its $3/40lb bag, but from what I’ve seen around my town it averages at $4/bag. Pet stores usually have at least a 50% markup on products, so usually anything there will be ridiculously priced. When I order through work I pay around a 10% mark up and the same product that will be at petland for at least double. It’s ridiculous how much money they make and still don’t bother to look after their animals properly

I use horse stall bedding and it is $5-$6 for 40lbs compared to $15 for 20lbs of feline pine.

Yes they do jack up the price because it’s for cats. It’s the exact same thing, just pine pellets. lol
