hershey’s started biting me whenever i stop petting her… anyone know how to stop her from doing this?

I’ve noticed she does this to our other rabbit joseph who we are trying to bond with her.

My Totoro does this too. Try squealing high pitched every time Hershey bites you, usually after a couple times a rabbit will associate the unpleasant sound with biting and will stop biting.

Is she breaking the skin? Light nibbles are a part of grooming, she may think she’s doing you a favor Just yelp or make a shrill noise when she does it so she knows it hurts you

thanks guys! I have been yelping sincerely (haha)…but she only stops for a while…eventually i have to push her away or move away myself. It doesn’t bother me that much, it only bothers me because jospeh doesn’t take it as well as i do & i think it’s hindering their bonding process because she behaves the same way with me as she does with jo, like she doesn’t realise i’m human and he’s not or something….*shrug*
