Hey guys! I haven’t posted on here in awhile and I kind of miss you all!! I will now update you guys on where I’m at..

I haven’t bonded roscoe and thumper for 2+ months because I’ve been way too busy with school They are still roomates at the moment though!

Roscoes pen is way too short (will be putting some of those cubes to make it higher as soon as I can get zip ties!) so he is constantly jumping out. I literally wake up at least 3 times a night because I’m a light sleeper and can hear him jump out. My sister once found him in thumpers pen.. they were just sitting beside each other with only a tiny bit of roscoes hair pulled out. Most nights I put roscoe in the hall with a litter box and hay because he’s just going to jump out anyways so I dont want to run the risk of them killing each other somehow!

Roscoes poop is so tiny.. So I spoke with the rescue I adopted him from and she said that he has had teeth problems before so that might be why he isn’t eating as much (still eats the same ammount of greens), so i need a teeth clipping and an all around check up for both buns ($$ I dont have

If anyone has any ideas for any of my problems shoot away!

Have you tried putting a sheet over the pen? You can just use clothespins to secure it. Sometimes that deters them.

I agree with having the vet check the teeth – that could very well be the culprit.

              Hey guys!
@SamandLadysHuman: I think teeth trimming is actually quite common :/
@Sarita: I have put a sheet over some part of the pen but I wonder if they feel some what trapped?
              Thanks for replying!

I don’t think they would feel trapped – bunnies often like spaces with a roof over their head because it feels more secure. You could take it off during the day if he’s only jumping out at night.

I also think teeth are probably the issues, so time for a visit to the vet!

He jumps out 24/7! I put a sheet over half the cage and he hasn’t jumped out since!
I will definitely be heading to the vet!
Thanks for the tips : )

Good luck at the vet! I had Hannah’s teeth done last year and it wasn’t too bad (except that she’s a big baby about medical procedures, but she’s not normal). It wasn’t super expensive either.
