Owwww I’m sorry ): How long ago was his neuter? If it’s been less than a month the hormones likely caused it. But biting doesn’t always mean aggression, he doesn’t understand really that he’s hurting you, he’s trying to communicate with you. It’s not personal (:

I am sure he will not be like that forever, and he didn’t mean it.
Maybe he is in pain. Has he been eating ok? Is his tummy bloated? Perhaps you startled him somehow.
Are you wearing a new scent? A new lotion? soap? He may not like it!

you mentioned he was only neutered two weeks ago right? Their hormones do not go away until 1 month after the neuter. Also I would keep them separated until it has been 1 month after the neuter so all his hormones are died down. Also is your other bunny neutered? make sure both bunnies are fixed before you put them together because they can be very territorial and dominant otherwise.

Mocha’s right. The hormones in a male can even surge within the month post neuter to cause more aggression, and she is not safe from him yet. If he bites you again, squeal in a high-pitched voice and remove him. bunnies scream in pain, so he will understand by your pitch that he hurt you.

Cheer up though, because after a month he should behave better.
One thought: examine his site for any redness, swelling or discharge. If he got an undetected infection he may be biting from pain, and needs to be seen by the vet asap.

My boy went NUTS after his neuter, like total different bunny until his hormones calmed – which was weird to me cause he had behaved a lot better before the neuter. But their hormones actually can get a lot worse during the healing period than even before surgery. Don’t take it personal.
