My rabbit Hazel is an unspayed, 2 year old Netherland Dwarf doe. She has her spay appointment next Wednesday. She is displaying mating behaviors (like circling, honking, etc.), but she also seems to be leaking urine or a similar fluid. I can only feel it when I go to pet her or she sits on my blanket. Is this normal for an unspayed female? She is using her litter box to urinate normally (except for an accident today outside here cage) and otherwise seems perky. She also has nasal congestion (which is getting checked at her pre-spay appointment on Tuesday) and some sneezing. I know I’m doing all the right things with her, but am a little anxious. Any ideas on the leaking?

Ugh, nevermind…I just saw her spray. I definitely know she is fine now lol. I CAN’T WAIT UNTIL SHE IS SPAYED! Still, her nasal congestion worries me…she definitely needs to see the vet.

Sneezing *could* be from allergies, its high right now and I’ve read bunnies are susceptible as well. I hope the spay helps!

Though it does appear to be hormonal behaviours, definitely do mention the leaking to your vet. She could be harbouring a tract infection or even have bladder stones or sludge present.

I hope her procedure goes well on Wednesday!
