Can you file bunny nails instead of clip them? If not, is there a good brand of clippers? I bought some from the pet store when I got samson and have only used them maybe 5 times at most, but they are dull now and seem to bend the nail?

I just use the cat clippers they sell at the pet store. The more expensive you get probably the better quality, but the generic ones are still sharp for me and I have two buns that have both had about 4 clips each. I wouldn’t try filing personally, a regular file would take forever with how fast their nails grow and an electric nail grinder would stress my buns out badly.

I also would clip them. Filing is probably fine (sounds like you need new files though), but it takes longer and if your bunny’s anything like mine, the faster the better.

I use the clippers that are kind of like spring-loaded scissors. They work awesome.

For my last rabbit I used a rotary tool because I am afraid to use clippers in case I cut the quick.

Chacha freaks out when I do, but I have gotten pretty fast, so I just trim trim trim, and it is over.. I don’t think I could freak her out more by filing. I think it depends on the rabbit
