          I used to live in a house, and I took my rabbit outside on a harness (I chucked it afterward) in the backyard. She did not like it one bit. Her nose waas twitching like crazy and her body was still like stone. It was horrible. She hopped underneath her grandpa’s bbq grill. I picked her up and we never looked back.

          I now live in an apartment and Chacha thinks that the apartment is her entire territory.. which is totally fine with me.

            I have taken both of my rabbits outside and they love it! Wilbur was doing binkies all over the place and bunny 500s. The little stinker was so hard to catch to bring back inside though haha I just watch her really closely, scan the backyard for poisonous plants and make sure everything is safe (:

              No. Why? Too many risks. Predators, insects, poisons. Wild bunnies and the diseases they can carry. Animal droppings.

              No thanks. My bunnies stay indoors.

                We let Tammo outside regularly, but I don’t think I’d do the same with my current bunnies…it just depends on personality. For one, if Remy went out we’d never be able to catch him again…

                We actually let Tammo out into the backyard every morning, a routine he really seemed to like. Whenever my dad would wake up, Tammo would be waiting at the bedside and follow my dad to the back door so he could go outside .  Also, sometimes later in the day he’d stand by the back door and paw at the panes, asking to be let out.

                    Porky has a nice play pen outside that he can go to for some fresh air, sunshine and homegrown clovers. We haven’t been out in a while though, b/c the weather has been lousy. I’m hoping it will improve as fall comes on and we can get some time out before winter hits.

                      No, my bunnies don’t go outside. I have read too many horror stories and also know first hand of rabbits being attacked by predators even when a person was nearby. There are fleas and ticks and poisonous plants to deal with, along with other parasites such as tapeworm if your rabbit ingests grass or plant material where other animals have used the bathroom. There is also the possibility that they could run off or get under some place where you couldn’t get to them.

                        So far, no. In our old apartment I tried to take them out on the deck a few times, but they hated it and just wanted to run back inside.

                        Our new house has a yard and plenty of room to take them out, but I haven’t done it yet. One, I don’t know if the previous owners put pesticides on the grass. Two, I doubt they’d enjoy it out there so it doesn’t seem worth the risk and the hassle. Maybe someday I’ll take them out.

                          I have wanted to experiment with letting Momo outside in a secure pen with me right there. But my husband is dead set against the idea.

                            I selected “Other”. My bun has supervised visits out to the balcony.

                              Rupert only, rarely; reasons: Supervised, enjoys it immensely, disabled (cannot run from me…cannot run from anyone really), secure yard and have a dog (no other animals in it ever); and excursions are rarely. He loves the outdoors but he also enjoys mostly from window seat with open window. No harness/leash/collar-those break backs.
                              I woudn’t recommend it, I just feel with his disability not being able to outrun me or jump high, supervised, also his microchip, secure yard…and he’s large -almost 10lbs (so large enough cats likely won’t sytle on him-even though of course I’m there) I feel it’s safe for a once in a while/year trip to the yard ;
