Do any of your bunnies wake you up in the morning? If so, how do they do it and how do you react?

I’ve been lettting Chacha bun have access to my bedroom while I go to bed at night. I don’t hear much while I’m asleep.. but in the morning, she tends to wake me up … I have a little fuzzy condo next to my bed so that she can jump on that to get onto my bed.

This morning, she hops onto my bed (and I’m about to come out of my sleep) and CRAWLS all over me like it is NOTHING at all!! I lift my head up, she notices – and binkies on my stomach!  I laugh and say” Whatcha doing brat?’ And she jumps off my bed and I put my head back down onto my pillow.

A few minutes later, I hear chewing on my BOOKSHELF  Hhaahah.. so I just wake up and give her her morning pellets and the bookshelft is left alone

I love my little brat. She is the best alarm clock ever

A free-range alarm clock! A better way to wake up than some annoying alarm or radio DJ blabbing.

Bindi is my alarm clock guy. He’s actually woken me up on several occasions when I needed to get up and my real alarm clock didn’t go off. He likes his schedule. The buns always get their breakfast between 7 and 7:30 because Monday to Saturday I have to get up early anyways. Sunday is my day to sleep in and I always set my clock for 8:00 (That’s sleeping in in this house). Some Sundays I’m lucky and he lets me sleep till 8:00 but most of the time he starts with his noise between 7 and 7:30: Digging on his floor. Then angry cardboard chewing. Then he starts with the violent rattle tossing. He’s in the next room but he makes it so loud that I just can’t sleep so the little stinker gets his way and Momma gets breakfast ready.

            Bunny Wake Up Call!!!!!

It’s the BEST way to start the day if you ask me. Perfect, that’s my rabbit’s name, will come bounding in and jump up on my chest then right off onto the other side of the bed. While on the other side of the bed he practices some morning gymnastics routine and then sometimes follows that with a bunny 500. I keep trying to get my ipod out fast enough to capture this, but the second that ipod comes out, he just stops. If I lay in bed too long after the initial wake up call, he’ll hop back up and literally start to dig my blankets off of me.

Hahahahhaha. Wilbur can’t reach my bed yet…but when I don’t get up to feed her in time she makes her presence known. Tossing her toys against the wall, digging at my bed post, and splashing the water out of her bowl are her favorites. The instant I’m out of bed she’s at my ankles bonking me with her nose where ever I go. That part is cute because I feel like she’s thinking “please don’t forget about me!” but iit’s probably really like “kay you’re being slow, I need my breakfast now”.
