If it’s a baby you want to bring it in an put it in a box to keep warm – unfortunately cat scratches and bites are EXTREMELY fatal to baby rabbits. I would google wildlife rehabber in your area and find one.

i searched but didnt find anyhting,it didnt injure it,there was no breaks in the skin, the cat was “playing” with it but they caught himbefore he did damage, they are trying to see if it will eat grass because if it does at least then they know its weened and could hopefully be released

I’m assuming you looked here, but just in case…
You could call any of the wildlife rehabilitators and ask if they know what to do/where to take them.
If/when you do call them, make sure you (or your brother) are clear about what happened and that you will NOT keep it as a pet… In some states it’s illegal to even have wild animals. I had a friend that found a baby squirrel from a similar situation and the wildlife sanctuary she called told her that they could arrest her for having the baby… apparently she did tell them that she didn’t want it, just wanted to make sure it didn’t die. 15 years later and she still has the damn squirrel. Lol..
Keep us updated! You could always mash up some rabbit pellets and water and syringe feed it. Wild rabbits won’t eat pellets, generally.

Yes, if the baby is eating on his own, you are in a great position to release him…rehabbers have particular places they like to release and particular weather conditions too. Generally it’s in good weather and in a place that isn’t highly populated.

I would release him if he’s eating on his own. If he wasn’t hurt from the cat, chances are he’ll do just fine back out in the wild.
