I got Oxbow Adult and Stickers loves it (she licks her bowl clean ), Powder refuses to eat it. I mixed it with his old pellets and he picked through it, left all the oxbow pellets shoved to one side (they are a slightly different color) and ate his old pellets. I’m going to try organic with him since some have said their buns won’t eat adult but will eat organic, but if that is a miss, what is a good brand ? I don’t like the old pellet they were on.

I would just kelp giving the oxbow, lessening the amount of his old pellets. Eventually, he will get hungry.

I just got APD Timmy pellets and my rabbits are obsessed with them. I used to use the Oxbow Organic because they hated both the timothy based and alfalfa based ones. Now they leave the Organic to the side… Haha. Oxbow continues to change up the formula (this is the THIRD time in 3 months that a major ingredient has changed, and no one knows why except that it’s making the product “better”), so I think it will be hit or miss. They might like one bag and not the next. That seems to have happened with mine. >.<

I’d keep oxbow They often choose a favorite and will dig it out if your trying to slowly switch. So just stick with oxbow and just like mom always said ‘you’ll eat it if your hungry’

When I switched from “Martin’s” to “Oxbow” they all stuck up their noses at them. I just kept offering fresh pellets at every meal and eventually they started to eat them. Now they gobble them up just as fast as the Martins brand.

Stick with it. They won’t starve as long as they have lots of hay and veggies.

Yes, be strong and stick with it – this will happen no matter what pellet you may use.

I agree though with Tate, the APD pellets are as good as Oxbow – Oxbow’s are just easier to get now.

you should try Timothy complete pellets by Kaytee! It is really healthy for bunnies. i get it for my rabbit Bugsy and he loves it, every time i get it out for dinner time, he gets really excited But dont over feed them! I usually give him about 1/8-1/4 of a cup a day, and i give some in the morning and some in the eavning. If you are overfeeding them, it is unhealthy, but also your rabbit could be getting bored with them so try feeding them less!
                    hope i helped!

I tried to post a reply last night but the site timed out on me

Thanks for the replies guys – I will wait it out until the bag is gone (5lbs between two) and if he hasn’t eaten any by then, I will try the oxbow organic. If that doesn’t work… I’ll try APD timmy.

Bugsy, thanks, I do measure their pellets out. Powder loves his salads and his hay, so he never even finishes his portion of pellets anyway. lol I don’t really like Kaytee, merely because they sell so many foods that are bad for animals (all types), that I would rather not support the company.
