Tillie and Toby have never molted like this and I assume this is what Smudge is doing?

We went to a Petco adoption event today. Sweet little Smudge rested his head in my hand and fell asleep. He is such a love!

Definitely molting. I used to have a bun that molted just like that, when I saw how much fur he was losing, all the shorter patches, and his coloring looking different (because different color fur molted and different times for some reason) I thought something was wrong with him! But after a couple weeks everything was normal again. Smudge is adorable!!!

Whew! Thank goodness. It looks like he has some sort of disease! Smudge got A LOT of attention at the adoption event, but I am pretty sure he is a permant foster! Thanks bunnyfriend!

Chacha is ALSO molting like nuts. On her back side, near her hind legs.. isn’t it amazing how fur is ACTUALLY growing back after you pluck? hahahah it gave me a fright the first time!

Hahaha yup!! I prefer it over a brush or comb. I’ll use the comb sometimes, but otherwise, hands do the job very well with fur plucking!

Blossom is a molting like CRAZY right now… She has a completely bald area near her hind quarters on the right side!! Her patterns in her fur are constantly changing because of her shedding, which she sheds all over, but ESPECIALLY near her rear. I honestly don’t know how she has any fur left, lol.

Up to my eyeballs in hair here too. Rupert could go in the guiness book for how much hair he molts but this is just bizarre-he’s losing so much. It’s like-embarassing how much he’s molting-he looks like an old man bunny who isn’t maintaining his hair cuts anymore!! lol I think it might be a bad winter
