I found an add on cregs list of a guy who sells Timothy, Alfalfa, and Orchard Grass. I called him today and he said he only has Timothy in round bales So I asked about the Orchard Grass and he said the orchard grass has white clover and a little bit of alfalfa mixed in. Would that be ok?

All Farm hay that I know of has some alfalfa mixed in it. The down  side is  now I have to go two places. one place for Orchard and another for Timothy. The buns have never had Orchard. How do your buns like it?

I think that would be fine…you may want to see if he’ll allow you to get a sample to see if your buns will actually eat it so you don’t waste money if they don’t.

The bales around hear are very CHEAP! I would only loose a few bucks.

They LOVE the orchard grass! Even Sebastian and he doesn’t normally eat a whole lot of hay! I might have to pick up some more bales.
