  Olivia’s been having some of these the last couple of days. I’m pretty sure they are not cecals. They are all different sizes and quite mooshy looking. They are in her litter box mixed in with the other poos. Any ideas as to what might be causing this? Diet related? If they are cecals, what could be causing her to have extra, mishapen ones? I normally never see any.
  
  I need to tweak her diet a bit anyways, she’s putting on weight. She gains and loses weight very easily. She will disapprove mightily if I reduce her already meager amount of pellets.

  Have you had her teeth checked? I find that when Bobby stops eating most of his cecals and the same with Pepe when he was alive that they were having dental problems (spurs).
  
  Other than that maybe she needs more fiber in her diet.

  That really does sound like cecals. I had to hand-feed Rosy her cecals for a while because she couldn’t reach them without falling over. They were just like that, different sizes and very mooshy.
  
  If they really aren’t cecals, then I would say she needs more fiber too.

  Tait gets the same thing, his definately aren’t cecals. It always happens when I’m away housesitting, he will barely eat any hay. Within 24 hours of me being home though they will go back to normal. Has she been eating less hay than normal?

  She may be eating less hay than normal because the last few bags of hay she’s very picky with, she won’t eat the brown strands so I’m constantly trying to re-fill her hay so she is getting enough.
