        my gramma has hay bales for her horses they are aprox 3/4 timothy hay 1/4 alfalfa and she has offered me some? she said that she would mix some grass hay in it as well for me. would this be ok all mixed together for panda my holland lop she is about 5 months old ?

          That sounds like a good mix to me for a rabbit that age.

            That should be fine if it’s horse quality. As she gets older (about a year), you’ll want to start limiting her alfalfa intake, so hopefully you can find a good grass hay without alfalfa.

                No I’d take the mix-that’s fine, alfalfa is higher in calcium and calories but it’s not poison and with such a small amount I wouldn’t worry at all That sounds like a good mix

                  thank you, i knew i read they could have a small amount and if she mixed in grass hay the amount of alfalfa would be very small. but i wanted to make sure, i have never had a bunny until miss panda.
