Hi there I noticed yesterday that my rabbits back toe nail is growing to the side. Is this normal?

It could be – I have had some rabbits with toenails grow in funky directions. I wouldn’t worry about it.

Keep an eye on it in case it gets caught on something and tears or bleeds. Then it could be a problem. I’d be sure to keep it trimmed down low.

One of my rabbits has always had a nail that grows out to the side. It’s on her front paw.

Yeah, it’s nothing to worry about. My bunny has a dew claw that grows out to the side. I just make sure it’s clipped often.

Same-mostly on the front foot-but both of mine have sort of slightly askew nails I’m sure it’s fine
