I am not sure if this is the right category to post this in. I was at my local dollar tree and they had these air freshners http://www.dollartree.com/cleaning-…/index.pro and it said it is good for pet odors. I was wondering is it ok to put this in my bed room where my rabbit lives? I normally buy ones at petco but they are so expensive.

Honestly, I wouldn’t use any kind of air freshener. Rabbits have sensitive respiratory system, and the chemicals in air fresheners aren’t good for them. Not to mention the scents are tailored for humans, not the more sensitive bunny noses.

If you feel you NEED an air freshener, not for scent but to remove odors, use a small dish of vinegar placed on a shelf. It will absorb odors and won’t be that noticeable after a few minutes.

You can also add lemon to the vinegar to cover up the vinegar smell!

yip I agree with all the above.
We were told by the vet to make sure not to burn any incense or candles and to make sure that we do not use air freshers any where near the buns as it can strip the lining of their respiratory system which can lead to infections.

also a bowl of cooked rice is great for absorbing odors overnight good for cleaning out your fridge too!!
